Robotics VIP Assignment


Points: 10% of total assignment points (5% for report, 5% for presentation)

The purpose of this assignment is to help educate us (both you as an individual and the class as a whole) about some of the researchers that have made important contributions in the field of robotics (or related fields).

Each student will select a (different) robotics researcher (a list of candidates will be supplied), write a brief (one to two pages) biographical report about their researcher, and make a short (5-10 minutes) presentation of their report to the class. The presentations will be spread out over the semester. Your report is due when you make your presentation.
