Who am I ?

• Before came to USA,

I was born in Oct. 14th 1971 in Seoul Korea. I graduated Yoido elementary, middle, and high school. After that, I entered Inha University aerospace engineering department in Inchon Korea. I served in Korean army from `91 spring to `92 fall, and my job there was managing reserved army records.
 
• After undergrduate,

I started the master's course of aerospace engineering in Purdue University in '96 fall. It took me two years to complete the program, and I transferred to Texas A&M university. The major reason I transferred was to get involved in an active research group and receive financial support. During the second year in A&M, I changed my major from aerospace engineering to computer science.
 
• As a christian,

While I was a member of Purdue Korean presbyterian church, served as a piano accompanist in single (not married) bible study group. In TAMU, I worked as the news letter editor of the young adult group before getting married, and currently involved in choir, financial department, web master, etc.


• I first met my wife

when I was working (part time job for 2 momths) in a christian magazine company, in 1992. Nothing special happened until Feb. '99, when she and I began to realize that we're really interested in each other. The major method of communication which realized the marriage was e-mail.
