I am an undergraduate student from the University of Wisconsin at Madison planning
to graduate spring 2009 with a BS in computer science. I spent the
summer at Texas A&M as part of the Distributed Mentor Program. My
research over the summer was about developing matrix algorithms for STAPL using the highly optimized
external libraries BLAS and PBLAS. My adviser was Dr Nancy Amato. Antal Buss, a Ph.D. student here, also
provided a lot of help with the project. I worked on the project
together with fellow DMP student Adam Fidel.
