Welcome! My name is Guang Song. I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at at Texas A&M University. My advisor is Nancy Amato. I expect to graduate in August 2003.
My main research interests lie in computational biology. My work has focussed on applying computational techniques to study biopolymer systems, specifically protein folding and to a lessor degree protein/ligand binding. Our work has attracted great attention and has been featured in the news.
My other research interests include motion planning, robotics, human-computer interaction, virtual reality, molecular docking using haptic devices, and quantum computing.
