Howdy! This is my first year as an MS student in the Parasol Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. I completed my undergraduate degree (B.Tech) from the Department of Information Technology in the year 2010, from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. My research interests are Algorithms and Distributed Computing, particularly Failure Detectors. My faculty advisor is Professor Jennifer Welch. She is a Regents Professor and Chevron Professor II at the Department of Computer Science at Texas A&M University. Her research interests are distributed computing systems, especially loosely-coupled, heterogeneous and failure-prone ones.
