Algorithms play a fundamental role in many aspects of robotics.
WAFR aims at bringing together around sixty researchers to discuss
recent trends and important future directions of research on algorithmic
foundations of robotics.
After the first edition in San Francisco, the workshop in Toulouse will consist of 10 talks by key researchers in the field and 21 contributed presentations in a single track. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:
* Holonomic motion planning * Grasping and Fixturing
* Nonholonomic motion planning * Sensor based planning
* Controllability and planning * Task level planning
* Manipulation * Assembly planning
